Tour update

Hi there folks!
So here I am, sat in a rest stop somewhere in Massachusetts nearly half way into the Jeff Beck tour. Things have been going great on my first solo acoustic tour, although it’s been a challenge to say the least! It’s just the three of us out on the road right now - myself, my girlfriend Amber (who has been doing an amazing job of selling the merch) and my trusty production manager Nate Cake (every band should travel with a Nate Cake!). It’s been tough stripping everything down acoustically, and i’m still getting into the swing of it - but it seems to be going down well. I’ve also managed to talk to Mr. Beck a couple of times, and he seems like a lovely bloke. The person who steals the show for me though is his bass player, Tal. She is unbelievable, and so much fun to watch!
I have to take this opportunity to thank Shari Stanford and her family. She has been putting the three of us up in her home just outside of New York City. We’ve had a lot of fun, including some impromptu jamming with the band “Freight Train” at Shari’s birthday party a few nights ago.
So - what’s next? Well the Live At Bonnaroo is out now on itunes, and is soon to be put out on vinyl too - and I’m more than excited to have my new studio album “Coming Up For Air” come out in June (16th to be precise!), and even more excited than that to be touring with a new full-electric-rocking-it-out band in the summer! Things have been really busy, but i’m sure you can tell I’m a little excited about it all!

What the hell! Nobody has been here yet? Anyway, Davy Knowles I’m proud of you. We met several years ago after BDS released Roll Away in Chicago @ Martyrs with some neighbor friends, Frank Bang. Going through some changing. For the better. Keep on (Blues)Rockin’. You come a long way. The best is how you are down-low and keeping it real. Don’t let them get your head, you might not make it back. Remember, the blues will never let you down. Peace out my friend.

Hey there Davy! We saw you and BDS at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington Dc last year. You were amazing. Cant wait to see if you get back here. Are you and BDS split? Are you still performing any of the songs you did together or are you only doing your own stuff now! Good luck on the road, hope to see you in the Nations Capital.

Looking forward to the second album, loved the first!
New “full-electric-rocking-it-out band” ... fantastic news!! Hope you do a gig or two in LA.
Davy, you have given the blues a new lease of life, thanks for that.

Hey Davy,
Saw you open for Jeff Beck last night in Oakland, Ca.
My wife and I liked your set a lot; extra kudos for
including 2 (!) Rory Gallagher numbers. He’s always
been very special to me among all guitarists, as is Jeff.
I had not heard of you before this, and as your set
grew stronger, I reflected that I probably wouldn’t
need to see you with a band as your solo set is so
strong. Now I find you’ve already had a band, etc.
Anyway, good work last night - I really look forward
to hearing more of your music.
